Its origins lie in the late 19th century, a time when tea clipper ships were racing across the ocean trade routes and tea-drinking was becoming ever more popular. Tea-drinkers needed a stronger brew for the morning, to get that extra boost of energy to start their day. CAFFEINE LEVEL - High (1-2 cups of black tea = 1 cup of coffee)

Each large tube is 3.5” wide and 4.5” tall and is made from 100% recyclable rigid paper tube material that is comparable to beautiful candle packaging. Inside are 16 pyramid tea bags that are made from premium, plastic-free, biodegradable material. Each tea bag holds approximately 2-2.5 grams of whole-leaf tea and herbs.
